Do you know what a "photo whore" is? Well, I guess I am. Ever since I got my Canon PowerShot SD400 Digitial Elph over a year ago, I've been carrying it with me everywhere I go in case I witness inspiration upon traveling my daily life. With hesitation, I used to carry around an SLR camera, which I still use to take more professional shots, but having a digicam enables me to take photos more frequently and conveniently. Following this practice has really opened up my eyes to some of the things many of us have taken for granted.

Word of advice: Don't just stop and smell the roses. Take a picture of them too.
I just returned from watching Superman Returns in 3-D at the IMAX. It incorporated an interesting and fresh storyline apart from what DC comic books have been carrying, but one caveat would be to save your money and just view the REGULAR Superman Returns. There aren't enough 3-D effects throughout the movie to make it worthwhile.

see relatedAfter a week's vacation, a lot of re-organizing, $350, without buying any new furniture (YET), and much to dispose of, I've managed to start making my place shy away from the look of a starving student. There are still some work to be done to the living and dining room, but I managed to "calm" my bedroom with the colour combination of Sage Green on the walls and Swiss Coffee for the trim. The first night I slept in the new decor, I woke up feeling very refreshed. Putting a lot of your own blood and sweat (ok, maybe no blood) into the job helps boost the pride in the place you live. I can't help but also feel at peace with the tunes of Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Tony Bennett, and Billie Holiday flowing through the room. Did I forget to mention I was downing a few bottles of Stella while I'm doing this?
Now I have to worry about my living and dining room which I painted Sandstone Cliffe (off-white). The walls are completely painted, but my old furniture needs to be replaced by some darker coloured ones to provide some contrast. That's when I'll begin to open up the floodgates to my bank account. "LIKE, ZOINKS!"

It was my birthday on June 5th. It's amazing how many times you can celebrate your 19th birthday in one lifetime.
Some close friends were generous enough to take me out to Gothams Steakhouse. I ordered the 24oz porterhouse (blue rare). Man was it thick ....
... and juicy! Althought the Matrix tells me this is real, I know it's not
